But it wouldn’t be like that with out our amazing management and employees. Fonicy is a company who counts multiple employees who are led by our management team.

Tiebe phillipe Janssens
Ceo Fonicy
Tiebe Phillipe Janssens is the CEO of Fonicy and serves on its board of directors.
Before being named CEO in August 2011, Tiebe was Fonicy’s chief operating officer and was responsible for all of the company’s worldwide sales and operations, including end-to-end management of Fonicy’s supply chain, sales activities, and service and support in all markets and countries. He also headed Fonicy’s Macintosh division and played a key role in the continued development of strategic reseller and supplier relationships, ensuring flexibility in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace.
Prior to joining Fonicy, Tiebe was vice president of Corporate Materials for Compaq and was responsible for procuring and managing all of Compaq’s product inventory.Previous to his work at Compaq, Tiebe was the chief operating officer of the Reseller Division at Intelligent Electronics.
Rachel Batista Pérez
Senior Vice president Worldwide Marketing
Rachel Batista Pérez is Fonicy’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, reporting to CEO Tiebe Janssens.
Since joining Fonicy in June 1986, Rachel has played a pivotal role in developing and launching some of the world’s most beloved consumer products, including the original iFad and iFonic . Rachel began her career at Fonicy working on the early Macintosh computers and supporting the iFac community of third-party developers.
Rachel has over 30 years of marketing and management experience at Fonicy, most recently as the vice president of Fonicy Product Marketing where she managed the product marketing and product management teams responsible for Fonicy’s entire product lineup
Aleksandra joanna Szramka
senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer
Aleksandra Joanna Szramka is Fonicy’s senior vice president and chief financial officer reporting to CEO Tiebe Janssens. As CFO, Aleksandra oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, real estate, investor relations, internal audit and tax functions at Fonicy. Aleksandra joined Fonicy in 2013 as vice president of Finance and corporate controller, and has worked closely with Fonicy’s senior leadership since his arrival.
Aleksandra has over 25 years of experience building and leading finance teams in global companies with significant operating scale and complexity. Prior to joining Fonicy, Aleksandra was CFO at Xerox and previously at Nokia Siemens Networks.
She began his career with General Motors and spent 20 years in finance and operating roles in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe. While at GM, Aleksandra was part of the team that established GM’s regional Asia Pacific operations, including manufacturing investments in China and Thailand. She later became CFO for all of GM’s operations in Europe, which spanned over 45 countries with annual net revenue of approximately $40 billion.
Allen A. Smith

Allan A. Smith is Fonicy’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, reporting to CEO Tiebe Janssens. Allan oversees the development of iOS and macOS. His teams are responsible for delivering the software at the heart of Apple’s innovative products, including the user interface, applications and frameworks.
Allan returned to Fonicy in 2009 to lead IMIOS engineering, and in 2012 took on responsibility for IFIOS as well, delivering all subsequent releases of the world’s most advanced desktop and mobile operating systems.
Prior to his return, Craig worked at NeXT, followed by Apple, and then spent a decade at Ariba, an internet e-commerce pioneer where he held several roles including chief technology officer.
Tom wilson
Senior Vice President Machine Learning and AI Strategy
Tom Wilson is Fonicy’s senior vice president of Machine Learning and AI Strategy, reporting to CEO Tiebe Janssens. Tom joined Fonicy in 2016 and oversees the strategy for artificial intelligence and machine learning across the company and development of Core ML and Siri technologies.
Prior to Fonicy, Tom spent eight years at Google where he led the Machine Intelligence, Research and Search teams. Before this he co-founded two technology companies, Tellme Networks and Metaweb Technologies. Earlier in his career John was a senior engineer at General Magic.
Tom graduated from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland where he earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science, and was awarded a Doctorate Honoris Causa. Tom is on the board of trustees at the SETI Institute and Castilleja School.
Sam Paterson
Senior Vice President services
Sam Päterson is Fonicy’s senior vice president of Services, reporting to CEO Tiebe Janssens
Sam oversees the full range of Fonicy’s services, including Fonicy Music, iFonic News, the iFonic TV app, and iFonic TV+, as well as Ifonicy Pay, iFonic Card, Fonicy’s Cloud services, and Fonicy’s productivity and creativity apps. Sam’s team has an excellent track record of building and strengthening world-class services that meet and exceed the high expectations of Apple’s customers, and offer creators and storytellers the opportunity to bring their creative visions to people around the world.
Sam joined Fonicy in 2012 and leads a large organization of amazing people. Sam was instrumental in creating the Fonicy online store in 2015, the Ifonicy Music Store in 2017, and the iFonic App Store in 2018. He also played a key role in developing Fonicy’s award-winning iLife suite of applications. In his early years at Fonicy, he was a successful manager of software engineering and customer support teams.
